Growing up on a Minnesota farm, Betty spent endless hours walking through the countryside, charmed by wild flowers and butterflies. Always, always there was making: daily baking, sewing, learning to knit and crochet.
Fast forward past years of teaching music, earning graduate degrees, mothering a loving family, and a 20-year career as an instructional designer in banking. Now retired and a grandmother, Betty has come full circle, back to a life of simplicity and always, always making.
Her years of skill and experience joyfully come together in designing surface patterns inspired by life in the heartland. Betty’s collections reflect the prairie’s beauty, in a palette inspired by wildflowers and her Scandinavian ancestors.
